I’m looking to buy a remote.. and found a nice remote for a powershot… and I have the rebel xsi. Its fairly cheap.. just wondering if one will work on the other.

Any of the three remotes on this page will work with your Rebel XSi. It does not appear that they will work on the Powershot cameras. There are a few Sureshot cameras that two of them will work with. The Cost is $30 for each of them.
