I have Sigma UC zoom 70-210mm for Minolta. Can I use it for my Canon Rebel? I just don’t want to throw it away if possible…

The problem is that the only way to mount a lens to a different mount is by way of an adapter. These adapters don’t have any contacts which means that if this is an auto-focus lens the camera would have no way to control the aperture. Even if it is a manual lens it probably wouldn’t be worth the trouble.
I would either put the lens on ebay or craigslist, whichever is your preference. I don’t know the lens so I have no idea how much it is worth. You could see if there are any on ebay now.
