wanting to take some night pics with my canon rebel camera I got and i need to know how to set the shutter lens. help please!!!!! I’m taking it of a house with lights at night and just need to know how to set it. thx

Switch it to manual (M) or shutter priority (Tv) and adjust the dial until you get the shutter speed you want. If you are shooting at night or in low light you’ll need a slow shutter speed ( several seconds maybe if its very dark) and for this you’ll need a tripod to keep the camera still during the exposure, otherwise it’ll be blurred.
I own an XS and I use this feature often.
As stated, turn the wheel to Tv. The dial referred to is right behind the shutter release button.
turn it either direction and watch the screen… you’ll see the numbers changing.
