I’m 15 years old, and looking to get my first SLR camera.
Do you think it’s a good camera? Any other suggestions?
Thanks! (:

I have been using a Conon Powershot SX10is for some time
I have been looking at DSLR cameras
And I feel that the Canon EOS Rebel XSi is the best camera for me
Does anyone have any Hands on experience with it
Or camera suggestions
I was looking at the Pentax K-x. I am not camera saavy just want something as good as my girlfriends camera. or a little better lol
I got a canon rebel xs this past christmas, and I’ve been having trouble with lighting and the quality of color. About a year ago i had taken a photography class and learned to use an XT. I loved it and i decided to get a camera of my own. Im not quite sure how to explain it but i cant get seem my photographs to bring out the light and color of what im looking at through the lens. (i hope that makes sense) I bought a book about my specific camera but i didn’t find it very helpful. I don’t use use the flash or auto focus often. and i know that my photos are not over exposed or under exposed, I just don’t know what I am doing wrong. If you have an tips or advice for a farly new photographer, it would be greatly appreciated.
I took the photography class about 2 years ago, dont remeber the settings my teacher taugh me.
Ok, at school the other day, my friend asked to see my camera. She accidentally deleted all my photos. She said she pressed format, saw the warning, but still pressed the select button on accident.
I had so many important pictures on there. Memories I can’t get back. Please, please, PLEASE help me recover my photos……..
I have a EF 23=70mm f/2.8L lens. I am not a professional I just enjoy taking pictures. I want to take portrait pictures of my grand kids and outdoor flowers and birds and such. I have looked at canon 7D and 5D mark II. What is the best camera for my needs. I want my pictures to look good.
Which has more to offer?
I like taking portraits, and just general urban photography.
When I’m taking portraits, I like my backgrounds to be somewhat unfocused sometimes, and it’s a bother to do that in photoshop.
What camera would fit my standards best, and be best for me, I’m 17.
im going to take a photography class. and i wanted to know if a macro ring flash would work on a 35mm film camera like the 35mm film canon rebel.
i want to take pictures at a concert (rockstar energy uproar tour w/ disturbed, stonesour, avenged sevenfold, etc…) but they say no professional cameras are allowed. should i just bring my smaller kodak easyshare? even tho i would love the quality of the canon…
Can someone work as a photographer with this camera? Im having a family photo done and the girl uses a canon rebel eos and my sister said that’s not a professional photography camera?
Thanks. Her photos look fine so I’m going ahead and still hiring her for our pictures but was just curious from my sister’s comment.
I borrowed a school camera, Canon, and the photos it shoots end up blurry or complete dark. What should I do to get clear shots? Also, it would help if you gave me pointers on how to use ISO,Shutter Speed and Aperture? Thank you
( Ive been messing with the settings, i’m trying to learn how to shoot using the creative zone settings)
Also, why is it taking long for my camera to shoot photos at a shutter speed of 125?
camera: zoom 18-55mm
OK, so i have a canon rebel XS and my only lens is a Canon’s EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS lens.
I was wondering what lens i should get? What would be the next step up?
Also, which lenses are better for different subjects? I’ve looked at a lot of lenses online, but i don’t really know which one would shoot what i want it to shoot.
What lens would you suggest for…
Close up flowers?
Extreme zooming? (like 100 yards or more zooming)
Portraits?
Panoramic?
How can you tell which lenses are better than others for the things i want to photograph?
Thanks!
