I have two Canon Rebel SLR cameras. One is digital (about 2 1/2 years old) and the other is about 4 years old and is a film camera. I just realized that my 28-80 lens from my film camera seems to fit on my digital SLR. Is it okay to put it on there? Is there a reason why I should or should not? Thank you for any advice.
I’m trying to select the best answer but something is wrong -it’s not letting me?!?!?

im buying my first dslr and im stuck between the nikon d40 or the canon rebel xs. What i wanted to know is which one has better quality. I know that the nikon d40 has 6.1 mp and the canon rebel xs has 10.1, but i checked flickr and the nikon pics looked better! I also know the nikon is cheaper on amazon. So im confused.

I have my sister’s old camera here, a Canon Eos Rebel. I know very little about it, and she hasn’t used it for years and doesn’t remember much.
Does anybody know what kind of film it takes, or otherwise have any tips in terms of using it?
Also, the camera doesn’t turn off unless you take the battery out, as it has no ‘on’ or ‘off’ button… Is there any trick to turning it off, or is the battery the only way?
I sadly don’t have the manual, either. Otherwise I would have read it front-to-back by now. :/

Earlier I had asked a question as to whether I should buy the Nikon D3100 or Nikon D5000 camera. But then I came across the Canon Rebel T2i camera. I can’t decide which camera to choose! I am stuck in between choosing which one I should get. I love taking pictures of nature, people and action. Most likely anything that appeals to my eye. Please help me decide which one I should buy? Also can you please tell why I should choose the camera? Please and Thank You!

I understand how the Pocket Wizard will go on the camera, but what do I need to attach the Pocket Wizard to my flash? I plan to purchase Pocket Wizard Plus II. Also, I have a Canon off-camera shoe cord… can I use this to attach the Pocket Wizard to the flash?

i have a canon powershot SD1000 right now & the reason i bought it is because it was one of the only cameras that wouldn’t make my eyes close with the flash. my eyes are sensitive to some camera flashes so i can’t just buy any camera, and since i moved out of the country and i can’t try the cameras out like I did with my first one. How is the flash on the canon eos rebel xsi? I have a really old canon rebel from like 1991 & that flash doesn’t make my eyes close. A friend is coming to visit me soon and she’s going to buy it for me if I ask her to. I really want this camera but I need to know if I will be able to take pictures of myself with it too.
