Canon Rebel XT camera has corrupted data, help!?

I have a Canon Rebel XT, which I’ve had for years, and have always had the same memory card, but now on the most recent pictures taken it’s saying corrupted data and won’t let me upload them. When I took the pictures yesterday and viewed them they were normal, but now they say corrupted date.

Someone please help.
I have a Mac.
How do you format the card? The pictures are not tremendously valuable, but I’d rather try not to lose them. Is there any way to format or fix the problem momentarily without losing the pictures?

If not, how do I format the card?

    I’ve had this camera for about two years and it’s always worked fine. The other day I took the memory card out and had some trouble putting it back in but once it got back in, it allowed me to take pictures just fine. It won’t let me erase the pictures from my camera now. The CF light stays on and it reads "Busy…" I’ve left it alone for about 30 minutes and no pictures are erasing. Can anyone tell me why this is happening?

      My brother let me borrow his Canon EOS Digital Rebel XTi camera for a trip and I’m not sure how to upload them onto my computer. My friend was telling me something about having to take out the memory card or something. Does anyone know?

      I plan to buy Canon T1i in Amazon and costing 9.95. I couldnt confirm whether the default product comes with battery. I know it wont come with memory card but dont know about batter.
