Wanting to buy a Canon Rebel XSi slr Camera and had a question regarding lenses? ?

I am looking at the Canon EF-S 17-85mm IS and the Canon EF 70-200mm/4L. Any thoughts? I don’t want to spend a ton of money and these seemed to be good "basics" and had great reviews.

I want to be a photographer and i am very interested in the canon EOS Rebel XS. My parents suggest i save my money to get it but it is a lot of money and would probably take me a long time to save. Any suggestions on how to save the money or where i can get a camera that can be used for photography just like the canon without the big price tag? Know any advice or where i could get that camera for cheap?

What is the best affordable "everyday" lens for the Canon Rebel XT (8mp) Camera?

By "everyday" I mean a lens that is versatile and could be used in most camera cases. Something not overly wide and not overly telescopic, but in the middle (ex. 17mm – 85mm or 24mm-85mm). I want the one that takes the best quality pictures (for the money) and don’t really care if the lens is cheap and or plasticy. I’m on a budget so I’m looking for one 0 or less. Thanks a lot!!!

I want to buy a good DSLR camera. the Canon EOS Rebel XS Digital SLR Camera is the cheapest cannon I could find at 0. Is it a good buy? or should I wait to save up more money and buy a more expensive one?

I’m going to be taking a photography course soon and I hope I can get into professional photography afterwards. A DSLR isn’t necessary for the course so I can wait if I should.

Could yous please give me your opinion on this camera and what the average price this camera is. Also, is the next step up from this camera the 20d? If no, what is? If yes, would it be worth my money to pay a couple hundred more (if that’s an accurate price increase) for the 20d? I will be using the camera for professional quality photos and hopefully to supplement my income in the future.
