I got a canon rebel xs this past christmas, and I’ve been having trouble with lighting and the quality of color. About a year ago i had taken a photography class and learned to use an XT. I loved it and i decided to get a camera of my own. Im not quite sure how to explain it but i cant get seem my photographs to bring out the light and color of what im looking at through the lens. (i hope that makes sense) I bought a book about my specific camera but i didn’t find it very helpful. I don’t use use the flash or auto focus often. and i know that my photos are not over exposed or under exposed, I just don’t know what I am doing wrong. If you have an tips or advice for a farly new photographer, it would be greatly appreciated.
I took the photography class about 2 years ago, dont remeber the settings my teacher taugh me.

Can someone work as a photographer with this camera? Im having a family photo done and the girl uses a canon rebel eos and my sister said that’s not a professional photography camera?

What flash unit should I get for my Canon Rebel XTi?
I am a photographer with a digital Canon Rebel XTi camera. I usually just use natural light, but lately bands I have done promos for have been wanting me to take live pictures. Since most of the shows are indoors, I’ve decided I need some proper flash equipment.
I’m a currently jobless teenager, so I need something really affordable. It doesn’t have to be top-of-the-line, I just want something that will do the job and make indoor flash photos look less crappy.

Where can i find a nice camera like the canon EOS Rebel XS?
I want to be a photographer and i am very interested in the canon EOS Rebel XS. My parents suggest i save my money to get it but it is a lot of money and would probably take me a long time to save. Any suggestions on how to save the money or where i can get a camera that can be used for photography just like the canon without the big price tag? Know any advice or where i could get that camera for cheap?

What is a good camera lens upgrade for my Canon Rebel XS?
I recently purchased the Canon Rebel XS, and I am happy with it. However I am looking to upgrade to a better lens for more professional looking photos, especially of landscapes and for portraits. Suggestions? I am a very new photographer.

Is the Canon Rebel T1i camera the right choice for me?
I am a film student thus, I need a camera, quite obvious. Since I am also a photographer in my spare time, I would like a camera that attend both of my necessities.
The Rebel T1i seems to be perfect. it takes great pictures, and records HD video.
But my question is, should I get a Rebel T1i, or should a get one video camera, and one SLR camera?
