i just bought Canon EOS Digital Rebel XT SLR Camera on ebay for a really good price, but it didn’t come with a lens. I’m looking for a regular lens to buy, what kind should i get/what is it called?

for beginning SLR photographers, I would recommend the Kit lens which is sold regularly with the camera It’s the 18-55is (IS Stands for image stabalization) The lens should sell for about $100 new, or 50-75% of that used on auction websites…
It’s not a great lens, by any means, but it’s a very good value, and versitile for almost any indoor shooting situation.
I also use canon’s 28-135is, which has a bit more telephoto, and a bit less wide angle. It’s not as inexpensive as the 18-55 kit lens, but it’s an excellent quality lens for a beginner, and it won’t break the bank.
